TYPICAL PATHOLOGIES IN SEXUAL MEDICINE (M/F) AND THERAPY CONCEPTS

Which pathologies occur most frequently in sexual medicine? How is the diagnosis made? Which specialists are called in to help and what types of treatment are suitable for daily practice? Which nutrients can be used and successfully combined with which traditional therapies? The presentation is a short, practical guide through the diagnostic and therapeutic intricacies of this Gordian knot.

WOMEN’S HEALTH – FIGHTING HOT FLUSHES AND PMS WITH VITAMIN B ET AL

In the case of many ailment patterns – such as involuntary childlessness, menopause symptoms, premenstrual syndrome and dysmenorrhoea – a holistic diagnosis alongside complementary medicine therapy concepts using e.g. orthomolecular substances and bioidentical hormones offer additional treatment options. In this presentation you will be shown some therapeutic options based on case studies that you can implement directly in your practice.

MEN’S HEALTH TODAY – AND A LOOK AT THE FUTURE

Men’s health covers more than just the prostate alone. Naturally, urological and andrological questions form the focus of men’s health, which, moreover, begins in the cradle. But there are numerous other diseases that primarily occur in or affect men (see androtropism).
These include diseases of the cardiovascular system, carcinomas and metabolic syndrome, which can also have an impact on testosterone, to name but a few. Also, when it comes to suicide, young men from puberty onwards lead the field. It is important to combat this situation, as well as the associated shorter life expectancy for men, with information and education. This presentation sheds light on the current situation of men’s health and offers a view of the future.

INDIVIDUAL SEXUAL HISTORY: THE BIO-PSYCHO-SOCIAL APPROACH

An in-depth look into a patient‘s sexual history is crucial to correctly evaluate and diagnose their sexual complaints and to support the treatment decision. This seminar will guide the participants through a multifactorial assessment of an individual‘s sexual function and satisfaction that comprises biological, cognitive, emotional, behavioural, contextual and interpersonal factors as well as their ongoing interaction with each other. The bio-psycho-social approach, the gold standard of sexual medicine, provides the complex subject with a frame, including the latest state-of the-art references in the field of sexual medicine. Francesca Tripodi will single out the top-ten questions in a sexual interview,
that can yield the necessary information for further inquiry. She will also show you how to get a patient to deduce the possible reason of their sexual symptoms. Barriers to discussing sexual issues with patients are examined which all but highlight the importance of appropriate training.

FAST & FURIOUS – GIVING A HELPING HAND TO MALE AND FEMALE REPRODUCTION

Egg cells and sperm cells are among the essential components for reproduction. But they are also hostage to the aging process. The quality and quantity of both structures can be improved by an increase in mitochondrial activity. Dr Just presents a holistic concept for
the improvement and activation of mitosis and mitochondria that enables taking control in a self-determined and self-dependent manner and thus increases the health-related options.
